STAKES are high at this year’s Miss Tourism Zimbabwe pageant show set for December 14 if the flawless parade of beauty and brains exhibited during the contestants’ official unveiling of finalists at a glamorous sashing ceremony at Montclair Resort Hotel and Casino on Saturday night is anything to go by.

The tease performances of the 19 beauties who made it to the finals revealed the depth of the competition in this year’s finale.

Fused with a talent show, the bevy of beauties exhibited multi-octave voices, brain searing poetry, serenading dance moves and – to add spice, bone breaking karate moves among many other amazing talents among the 2019 finalists.

Beyond letting stakeholders and the media know who the finalists are officially the sashing ceremony revealed just how difficult the adjudicators’ role will be on December 14.

For Miss Tourism Manicaland provincial license holder Mrs. Caroline Marufu-Buwu – who produced last year’s winner and has two representatives its more about celebrating the country’s beauty and empowering the girls.

“Tonight marks the official endorsement of our national finalists and hosting them as well as the finals is a progression that shows Manicaland is not a forgotten gem and we plead for everyone to come in their numbers on December 14 and support the girl child,” said Marufu-Buwu.

She also said the show was also set to place Manicaland on the global tourism map.
